In late 2019, RD 900 became a dependent District, with the City of West Sacramento City Council serving as the District’s Board of Directors. The Board typically meets at 5:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the City of West Sacramento Council Chambers. 

The District's six Board members serve in staggered 4-year terms, elected by the public during annual November election processes.  Qualified Board members must be landowners or legal representatives of landowners, and must live in the District. 

Board members are not compensated.
